An energetic membership is the life blood of any club, therefore we are always seeking new members. To do this we offer free lessons. It is our feeling that once you have tried the game and rub shoulders with our members you will understand our love of the game. Just click on the membership button below and we will arrange for you and others to learn and play a game of Bowls.
Membership in the MacKenzie Park Lawn Bowls Club provides a place to play, compete and practice in a social game of lawn bowling, and also the opportunity to compete at a league level against other lawn bowls clubs. However, because of the pandemic crisis, all tournaments and league play have been suspended. Our Club Coach, recently inducted into the Hall of Fame, is available for members who want to improve their technique or delivery. A Vice class is also held once a year for those leads who would like to play in the vice position in a game.
Our many social activities, mostly centered around holidays, have been put on hold, due to the restrictions on social gatherings from the State and our local health department. Before the Covid-19 virus, we served coffee and breakfast snacks at our morning bowling times and members shared food and beverages at our Twilight Bowling time. When things get back to normal, it will be a joy to celebrate a holiday with a party following a friendly game of bowls.
